About Department

We provide our students with state-of-the-art resources in Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control System, Measurement & Instrumentation, Electric Drives & Their Control and High Voltage Engineering.

Electrical Engineering Department provides facilities to the students to design and conduct experiments, as well as involve them in the research projects related to FACTS Controllers, Power System Modelling & Simulation, Power System Planning, Smart Grid, Control of Electric Drives, Robotics, Software Developments.

The Department has highly equipped laboratories with latest technologies covering various fields of Electrical Engineering: Electrical Workshop, Electric Circuit Lab, Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation Lab, Control System Lab, Electrical Machines Lab, Power System Lab, Power Electronics Lab, High Voltage Engineering Lab, Electric Drives & Their Control Lab.

In addition to the above laboratories, we have Software Based Electrical laboratories equipped with latest & innovative softwares like Proteus, MATLAB, Circuit Maker, PSPICE, PCB Wizard- Power System Modeling & Simulation Lab, Computer Based Power System Design Lab, System Programming Lab.

The Department has highly qualified faculty. To enhance the knowledge in field of Electrical Engineering, the Department also provides various Expert Lectures, Workshops, Seminars, Paper Presentation & Industrial Visits.
